The floral design studio and special events company, located in Garden City Park has been creating imaginative and elegant floral arrangements for sophisticated and demanding clientele for over twenty years. Always keeping up with the latest trends and fashions, keeps Pedestals in the forefront of the industry.

The team prides themselves in giving clients the personal touch they need, in creating breathtaking works of art ranging from simple to elaborate. The art of floral design is one of the most important aspects in creating the ambience of a wedding or special event.

Each client comes to Pedestals with a vision representing their unique style, our designers work with them to enhance their ideas and create an event beyond their dreams and expectations.

As Owner and President of Pedestals Floral Decorators, Phil has a vested intereste in every event that takes place. He has always had a passion for floral and for seeing his visions become reality. Now known as a leader in the industry he still is on site daily to oversee all ordering and production. Throughout the years Pedestals has grown not only in its location size but also by employees.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, he believes in keeping the work here on Long Island. “This is my home, these are the people who made me who I am today and for that I am grateful.” He was taught how to run a business and how to dream big when he was a child, his father would tell him “Whatever you choose to do in life, do it all the way and never give up”. Today, Phil still works with the same ethic and teaches his team to work the same way; that what they do here at Pedestals is not just a job, but its a passion, its art. And that each person deserves the very best product.

Robert's warmth is what makes his designs so unique. His ability to hear what the client is asking for and to bring it to fruition is what sets him apart from the rest. No matter the size of the event, Robert executes with his heart. He gets to know his clients and is connected to them that their special moment ends up becoming his.

Nadia has over 20 years of experience in the floral industry. Throughout the process of working with Nadia you will experience her warmth and friendship. Her return clients always greet her like they are family. She takes pride in making sure that her client is happy and that they experience the best quality of service at Pedestals.

Having 30 plus years of experience, Joseph’s passion for and knowledge of flowers is evident in each of his designs. Joseph feels getting to know his clients and their needs is the key to his success. Whether the party is an intimate gathering or a grand gala, he believes that his attention to the smallest of details creates a spectacular event!



Special Event Consultant

As a graduate of F.I.T., Steven has always had a love of design. From planning intimate parties to grand, he has fulfilled clients dreams by bringing them to reality. His meticulous attention to every detail is what sets me apart from the rest, his clients come in as strangers and leave as friends. Steven will work effortless to make my clients happy with visions of fairy tales coming true. From the youngest of children to the eldest of life, his dedication and passion is to create memories that will last a lifetime.



Head Production Designer

Joe started his career in decorating and floral sales. As he grew in the industry his real passion evolved into designing and producing floral pieces. He has truly been an asset to Pedestals for the past fourteen years. One of his most cherished memories was designing his daughter Daniella’s wedding. To old vintage flair to modern designer trends, he sets the bar.



Production Manager

Anthony started with Pedestals in 2005 as a drivers assistant. He has excelled to the position of Production Manager and also has become one of the most trusted, creative, and experienced event designers in the industry. Anthony knows the ins and outs of all catering and hotel spaces throughout the tri-state area.

As a designer his expertise and knowledge helps to set your event apart from the rest while keeping your vision in mind. His knowledge and connections throughout the industry are incomparable. Anthony’s passion for floral decorating shines throughout all of his work. His work ethic and dedication to the company is displayed in his performances and his ability to create and deliver events at any scale. Floral is an art in which he takes pride in, and has mastered creating seamless parties for all levels of clientele.



Assistant Production Manager

A natural fit at Pedestals, floral decorating is in his blood, as the nephew of Philip Sammut, Christopher has known the ropes of the product and service industry as far back as he can remember. With passion and love he produces and executes each and every party as if it were his own. It is his drive that makes him a quintessential component at Pedestals.



Administrative Assistant

With a deep love of the community and the hospitality industry Whitney brings a sense of commitment and loyalty everyday to Pedestals. Utilizing her background in the floral industry she works very closely with every individual to ensure that their needs are met.
